Same patina, new guts.

Mark's F-250 came in running three separate gas tanks, one of them tucked inside the cab behind the seat — a dated, and frankly dangerous, setup on a truck this age. We pulled all three and replaced them with a single fuel cell, done right. The tank that used to live in the cab came out for good, and in its place we built a custom enclosure for a high-end stereo system, so the space earns its keep instead of sitting there full of gasoline.

The rest of the truck got the same no-nonsense treatment: a new engine, new brakes, new wheels and tires, new front and rear bumpers, and a fresh sprayed-in bedliner. What we didn't touch was the patina — the paint got cleaned up and cut back, not resprayed, so it still wears fifty-plus years of honest history. New underneath, old on top, exactly like Mark wanted.

Same patina, new guts.
